abstract The invention relates to the preparation of sorbents and can be used in research laboratories in the synthesis of sorbents and other polymers and plasmass, as well as in industry for the synthesis of ion exchangers. The invention makes it possible to increase the yield of microspherical particles in the copolymerization of water-insoluble, oil-soluble monomers by carrying out dispersion polymerization in an agar-agar gel. The method involves dispersing the monomer mixture in a dispersion medium consisting of 66-90 wt.% Water, 9-34 wt.% Glycerol, 0-2 wt.% Starch, adding the agar-agar solution so that its concentration is 0.125-1 wt.%, Carrying out the copolymerization and separation of the spherical particles of the copolymer from the dispersion medium. 1 tab.
