titleOfInvention | PSEUDOMONAS AUREOFACIENS BACTERIA STRAIN TO OBTAIN A DRUG AGAINST BACTERIAL GRAPES |
abstract | The invention relates to the microbiological industry and relates to obtaining plant protection products from bacterial cancer, namely to new strains for obtaining a drug against bacterial cancer of the grape. The aim of the invention is to obtain a new, more effective strain of Pseudomonas aureofaciens 35. The bacterial strain is isolated from willow. The strain of bacteria P. aureofaciens, the authors assigned N 35, it is deposited on VKPM under the number B-4117. A distinctive feature of the strain is its ability to inhibit the growth of virulent agrobacteria that cause bacterial cancer of grapes and other plants. A wider spectrum of antagonistic action is characteristic for the claimed strain than for the strain Agrobacterium radiobacter 84 used for biological control of bacterial cancer. It inhibits the growth of agrobacteria containing plasmids of octopic and nopaline types. In addition, the claimed strain exhibits antagonistic action against other phytopathogenic bacteria that cause diseases of important crops. The strain can be used for biological control of bacterial cancer of grapes, as well as other plants. The tests of the strain showed that the treatment of cuttings of grapes with suspensions of cells of the strain leads to the suppression of tumor formation on plants. 2 tab. |
