titleOfInvention Composition for borochromating steel articles
abstract The invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely, to chemical heat treatment in powder saturating media, in particular to diffusion borochroming, and can be used in the engineering and instrument-making industry. The goal is to improve the processability of the composition when boring steel products. The composition contains 16-24 wt.% Chromium oxide, 16-20 wt.% Boron oxide, 1-3 wt.% Zirconium oxide, 19-21 wt.% Aluminum powder, 8-12 wt.% Iron powder, 1-3 wt.% aluminum fluoride, 0.3-0.5 wt.% graphite, 0.1-0.3 wt.% ammonium tetrafluoroborate, the rest of aluminum oxide. The use of the composition makes it possible to increase the processability of the mixture for boring steel products by eliminating grinding and fractional separation of the mixture after the saturation process. 1 tab.
