titleOfInvention Method of treating cysts of iris of the eye
abstract This invention relates to ophthalmology. To reduce the frequency of recurrences and postoperative complications in the treatment of iris cysts, after making a linear incision in the limbus area, an electrode is inserted into the anterior chamber and, after simultaneous irrigation of the anterior chamber, the anterior cyst lamina is coagulated. Then, delimitation diathermocoagulation is carried out around the cyst perimeter within healthy tissues and, having turned off the electrode, with its end, massage the surface of the anterior leaflet until the cyst contents are completely removed and its walls subside. Next, simultaneous coagulation of the anterior and posterior cyst leaves is performed, sequentially inserting an electrode into each of the perforations formed in the anterior leaflet.
