titleOfInvention | Method of determining the necessary volume of surgery in amotio retinae cases |
abstract | The invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. In order to increase the accuracy after fixation of a seal to the sclera in the area of the projection of the retinal tear, the posterior edge of the seal with the sclera is pressed under the ophthalmoscope control. In the absence of displacement of the gap relative to the depressing shaft and the retina fitting its posterior edge tightly, the volume of the operation is considered sufficient. In the event of a vertical displacement of the rupture, the subretinal fluid is withdrawn and the thickness of the additional radial fillings is increased. By mixing the gap along the axis of the depressing shaft to the posterior pole with the formation of retinal folds at the posterior edge of the depressing shaft, subretinal fluid is withdrawn and the length and width of the radial seals are subsequently increased. |
