abstract The invention improves engine efficiency by adjusting the exhaust phase. The cylinder has an inlet, purge and exhaust port. In the upper part of the exhaust window is installed rotary valve 5 with the axis of rotation 6 and the working surface 7, made in the form of a mirror cylinder. The spool is equipped with a shank 8 with guide grooves 9 located perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the spool, and is connected to the drive mechanism by means of a crank 11, the finger 10 of which is placed in the slots 9. This embodiment of the spool kinematic connection with the crank provides a parabolic account using a variable ratio between them. The ratio of the distance from the axis of rotation of the spool 5 to the axis 12 of the finger 10 to the length of the crank 11 is 0.2-0.9. The choice of this ratio determines the setting of the range and the law of regulation. 2 Il.
