titleOfInvention Method of determining aetiology of exudative pleuritis
abstract This invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular, to pulmology. The aim of the invention is to accelerate and simplify the method. To do this, α-1 proteinase inhibitor is determined in the pleural exudate and in the patient's serum by introducing a solution of trypsin in serial dilution (10 tubes) into the test liquid. The mixture was shaken and allowed to stand at room temperature for 10 minutes. to form an enzyme-inhibitor complex. Then, one drop of each tube is applied to the cells drawn on X-ray film, placed in a Petri dish and left to stand at room temperature for 2 hours. Then the film is rinsed with running water and the polysysis is examined. -inhibitor and the ratio of the obtained values in the study of pleural exudate and serum and with a value of this indicator of 0.72 or more exudative pleurisy of inflammatory etiology is determined, and with a value of 0.45 and less - exudative pleurisy of cancers oh etiology. Using the method allows for 3 hours to determine the etiology of exudative pleurisy and significantly reduce the labor costs for research. 1 tab.
