abstract |
The invention is intended for ophthalmology. The purpose of the invention is to simplify the technique of operations and reduce postoperative complications. An implant with an eccentric central canal is taken. Two sections along the axis of the cylinder in the widest and narrowest sections of its wall form a flap 35 mm long and 7 mm wide. After the reversal, the flap is placed on the sclera with a circularly thick edge to the limb, and a thin one — to the equator with a convex surface to the sclera and hemmed 10–15 mm from the limb with a sponge stretched over the entire circumference. Subretinal fluid is then withdrawn. (ABOUT |
