titleOfInvention | Method of diagnosis of sepsis in children |
abstract | This invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to pediatrics. The aim of the invention is to predict the course of the disease. To do this, heparin and liquid paraffin are added to the blood sample under test, and the concentration of HCO ions in the resulting plasma is determined. The erythrocytes obtained are subjected to freezing and then to a sharp thawing followed by the determination of HCO ions in the hemolysate. A transmembrane gradient is calculated and, at a value of 0.68 or more, a favorable course of sepsis is predicted, and at a value of 0.67 or less, a non-favorable one is predicted. The method allows you to quickly and reliably predict the course of the disease. It takes 15 minutes to complete, which is 10-15 times faster than similar methods. Table 2. with S (L with |
