titleOfInvention Method of producing 2-nitroso-1-naphthol
abstract The invention relates to ethers, in particular to the preparation of 2-nitroso-1-naphthol, which is an intermediate in the synthesis of pigments. Pel - increase the yield of the target product. It is prepared from 1- naphthol and alkali metal nitrite in the presence of zinc acetate at a molar ratio of 1: (2-4): 3 at 70- 75 ° C. The process is carried out in a mixture of ethylene glycol and isopropyl alcohol in a volume ratio of 1: 1 . The method allows to increase the yield of the target product up to 90% (against 25% with the known method).
