The invention relates to heterocyclic compounds, in particular to 2-oxo-4- (o-difluoromethylthiophenyl) -5-methoxycarbonyl-6-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine (I), which has coronary expanding activity and can be used in biology and medicine. To reveal the best activity among the compounds of the indicated class, a new compound I was obtained. Its synthesis is carried out from o-difluoromethylthiobenzaldehyde, acetoacetic acid methyl ester, and urea in ethanol in the presence of HC1. Yield 52.1%, m.p. 212-. Tests of compound I show that it exhibits a better (10 times) coronary-expanding effect than papaverine, with less (- 11 times) toxicity and high activity (150 times). 1 tab. |
