titleOfInvention Method of producing 5-(n,n-disubstituted)-aminopenthanon
abstract This invention relates to amino ketones, in particular to the preparation of 5- (H, H-disubstituted) aminopentanone-2, which is used in fine organic synthesis. The goal is to increase the yield of the target product and simplify the process. The preparation is carried out by the alkylation of 5-hydroxypentane-2 at 70-80 ° C in an environment of benzene or hexane. The process is carried out in the presence of a catalyst of Rene nickel, taken in the amount of 15-22 wt.%. The method provides product yield up to 77% and simplifies the process by conducting it at atmospheric pressure and in a shorter time.
