titleOfInvention | Alloy for deoxidizing and alloying steel |
abstract | The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the production of ferroalloys for the deoxidation and micro-alloying of steels. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the loss of silicon, manganese and aluminum, increasing the mechanical properties, hardenability and wear resistance of steel. The alloy contains, wt%: silicon 14-34; manganese .40-75; aluminum 0.1-5.0; calcium 0.1 to 4.0; magnesium 0.2-2.0; carbon 0.2-2, phosphorus 0.05-0.4; sulfur 0.001-0.04; boron 0.1-3.0; copper 0.02-10; nitrogen 0.03-3.0; iron balance The additional introduction of boron, copper and nitrogen into the alloy provides a reduction of 10–20X of silicon, manganese and aluminum carbon, increasing by 1.2–1.5 times the mechanical properties and hardenability of the steel being worked. 2 tab.
