abstract The invention relates to the field of analytical chemistry and can be used for sanitary-chemical analysis of water by thin-layer chro-and matography. The goal is to improve the resolution of chromatographic spots. Analyzed samples of bottoms dyes contained in water are applied to plates with wide porous silica gel (Silofol) and the sample is eluted with a mixture of xylene-ice and acetic acid in a volume ratio of 1: 1 for 30 minutes.
