titleOfInvention Method of treatment of trichiasis
abstract This invention relates to ophthalmology. The purpose of the invention is to prevent postoperative complications and shorten the treatment time. An incision is made along the intermarginal space behind the roots of the eyelashes. The skin-muscle plate is separated, cut vertically at the outer and inner ends of the incision. An indirect section of cartilage is made up to a depth of 1-1.5 mm along the eyelid. The outlined flap of the cartilage Is separated and the ciliary edge of the skin-muscle plate is pulled to the free edge of the rag of the cartilage. The method allows to obtain a cosmetic effect. The round-up period is reduced by 4-5 days.
