titleOfInvention Method of flotation of potassium-containing ores
abstract This invention relates to the beneficiation of minerals. The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of the concentrate and reduce the loss of potassium chloride while reducing the cost of the blowing agent. Potassium-containing ore is treated with a modifier. The pulp is conditioned with a collector and a spirit blowing agent. The foaming agent used is a bottoms residue produced by furfuryl alcohol (COPS), which is a mixture containing mainly furfuryl alcohol, pentadiols and resin. The KOFS reagent is an oily liquid, a dark brown color without mechanical impurities. Improvement of technological indicators when using the method is due to the increased hydrophobization of useful minerals due to co-adsorption of reagents. The application of the method allows to increase the content of calcium chloride in the concentrate and reduce its losses, while at the same time reducing the costs of the flotation agent, the blowing agent, and the content of the insoluble residue in the concentrate. i (L
