titleOfInvention | Method of processing collagen-containing raw material for feed to animals |
abstract | This invention relates to meat industry. The purpose of the invention is to increase the nutritional value of the feed. For this, trimming skins that are not used in the leather industry, after washing with water, is subjected to hydrolysis at pH 8.0-8.5, created by adding 2-3 volumes of 0.5-0.7% aqueous sodium hydroxide solution, temperature 110- 120 seconds for 1.0-1.5 hours. The mixture is cooled to 37-45 ° C, the added fat is removed, neutralized with acid to pH 7.0-7.5 and fermented for 8-10 h by adding crushed pancreas of slaughter animals, taken in the amount of 1-5% by weight of raw materials. Then the enzymes are inactivated by boiling for 10-15 minutes and dried. At the same time receive a product in which completely there is no hair, with the content of full-fledged protein of 82%. Adding product to diets increases average daily gains by 30–33%. 3 hp f-ly. S (L with sd |
