abstract This invention relates to clinical chemistry and is intended for the refined diagnosis of atherosclerosis. The purpose of the invention is early diagnosis by increasing the sensitivity of the method. In this, plasma lipoproteins are separated by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, followed by recording electrophoregram discs, quantitatively processing densitograms, and finding the percentage of apo-B-containing lipoproteins (LIPP, VLDL and remnant) from the total amount of athero- and antiatherogenic lipoproteins, taken as 100%. All stages are calculated according to the general formula (CXSpl - CXC-HDL) / / (HSPp-XC-LPV11) xHS-AtLP,%: AtLP,%, where CXC is free plasma cholesterol (PL) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL), XC - total plasma cholesterol and HDL (cholesterol-HDL) and atherogenic lipoproteins (cholesterol-AtJ), atlP - atherogenic lipoproteins.
