titleOfInvention Cast iron for rolls
abstract The invention relates to the field of metallurgy and can be used in the manufacture of mill rolls. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the decrease in hardness over the depth of the working layer, better wear resistance and a decrease in the anisotropy of the flexural strength. New cast iron contains components in the following ratio, wt.%: C 2.6-3.2; Si 0.5-1.1; Mp 0.5-0.7; Gr 0.4-0.8; Ni 0.6-1.0; Si 0.5-0.9; V 0.15-0.35; B 0.02-0.06; Ti 0.05-0.15; Fe 0.0002-0,0006; N 0.01-0.045; Fe rest. Additional input into the composition of cast iron Ng and a decrease in the content of Te from 0.001-0.02 to 0.0002– 0.0006% ensured a decrease in the decrease in hardness over the depth of the working roll layer by 1.7–258 times, an increase in wear resistance by 3.7–3 , 9 times and a decrease of 42.7% of the anisotropy of flexural strength. 2 tab.
