titleOfInvention Method of preparing histologic specimen of gastrointestinal tract vascular network
abstract The invention provides full detection of the entire vascular network, for which a contrast solution is introduced into the celiac artery and the gastro-splenic vein of an isolated stomach of ruminants. A solution of red lead with glycerin and distilled water is injected into the artery, and a barium sulphate suspension of glycerin and distilled water is introduced into the vein for injection into the vein. After the vessels are filled with a contrast solution, the stomach is freed from the contents and the walls of the organ are exfoliated with fingers with a continuous stream of water at a pressure of 1.2-1.5 atm. The resulting preparations are placed on a defatted glass so that their edges hang down 1-2 cm over the edge of the glass, and dried for 10-12 hours, after which the edges are cut.
