titleOfInvention | Method of surgical treatment of open angle glaucoma |
abstract | The invention shortens the time of surgical treatment of open-angle glaucoma. Epibulbar anesthesia is performed with a 1% solution of dikain, retrobulbar anesthesia with a 2% solution of novocaine and akinesia. Cut the conjunctiva 8 mm to 6 mm from the limbus. A superficial scleral flap of 5 x 5 mm is separated by a base to the limbus, a Schlemm canal is layered, the probe is inserted into the lumen, and the outer wall of the Schlemm canal is removed along the probe for the width of the scleral flap bed. Remove the area of the deep sclera behind the drainage area of the eye. Impose interrupted sutures on the superficial flap and continuous suture on the conjunctiva. |
