abstract The invention relates to medicine, in particular to diagnostics, intended to investigate the state of the reticulo-endothelial system and, in particular, the liver. The aim of the invention is to reduce the morbidity and acceleration of the method by obtaining the haptoglobin-hemoglobin complex, administering it to the patient in a volume of 150,200 ml, determining the initial concentration of this complex and determining the phagocytosis coefficient, according to which pathology is diagnosed. The phagocytosis coefficient K is calculated according to the formula: K (C, -C): (T ,.), where C, is the initial concentration of the haptoglobin-hemoglobin complex; C- is the concentration of the haptoglobin-hemoglobin complex after a period of time; T is the time to determine the concentration of the haptoglobin-hemoglobin complex after a period of time; T is the time of administration and description of fS dividing the initial concentration of the haptsglobin-hemoglobin complex. (L If K value is less than 1, pathology is diagnosed.
