abstract This invention relates to the field of analytical chemistry, in particular, to a method for determining acetylsalicylic acid in dosage forms and biological fluids. The aim of the invention is to increase the selectivity, sensitivity and express determination. For this, the sample to be analyzed is dissolved in ethanol and treated with a 5% solution of boric acid in concentrated sulfuric acid in the presence of propanol. The volumetric ratio of the analyzed solution: propanol composition (LL is 1: 3-3.5. Concentrated sulfuric acid is then added and the relative fluorescence intensity of the resulting colored solution is measured. Table 7.
