titleOfInvention Unit for determining flexural vibration decrement of sample
abstract This invention relates to a measurement technique and is intended to study the mechanical properties of materials. The installation allows an increase in the productivity of the measurement due to the automation of the process and the measurement at higher temperatures. The luminous flux from the radiation source is directed to a modulating system, made in the form of a block of slit diaphragms, which is attached to one of the freely suspended loads. With the load 1 “1 the sample under test is also fastened. Rectangular holes in the block of the aperture diaphragms form the measuring channel. During oscillation of a sample of a fuyun module, the systen is unfolded, which leads to a change in the beam size passing through rectangular holes. As a result, a modulation of the light beam at the input of the photodetector is provided. The intensity of the light signal at the input of the photodetector is proportional to the angle of rotation of the modulating system — the magnitude of the flexural vibrations of the object under test. The signal from the photodetector is sent to a processing unit, where it is processed and recorded. 4 hp f-ly, 4 ill. WITH
