titleOfInvention | Method of manufacturing electrographic material for electrostatic recording of information |
abstract | The invention relates to methods for producing electrographic material for electrostatic recording of information and allows us to simplify the technology for producing a material while simultaneously improving its quality by reducing the rate of decline of the potential of layer charging. A slurry layer is prepared to take charge by mixing the titanium-silicon pigment with a polymeric binder. This suspension is applied to an electrically conductive substrate with a mass of 1-5 g / m, followed by drying. As a titanium-silicon pigment, a gel-like product of the interaction of titanium chloride with an alkali metal alkylsiliconate containing an alkyl radical with 1-6 carbon atoms is used, with a ratio of from 1: 0.5 to 1:10. The application of the suspension to an electrically conductive substrate is carried out directly after mixing its components. The polymer binder is taken in the form of a 5-10% aqueous solution or emulsion. Water-soluble or water-emulsion acrylic, vinyl, styrene, alkyd polymers and copolymers, as well as formaldehyde-based resins and mixtures thereof, are used as polymeric binders. 1 hp f-ly, 1 tab.
