Method for making plated steel sheet |
abstract |
1524997 Resin coated steel sheets KAWASAKI STEEL CORP 10 Oct 1975 [15 Oct 1974] 41705/75 Heading B2E Steel sheets are provided with an insulating coating by treating them with an aqueous resin emulsion in the presence of 3-40% chromic acid. The emulsion includes a separable and a non seperable resin (a separable resin is one forming two layers when shaken with chromic acid while a non separable resin remains mixed with chromic acid). The separable resin may be an acrylic copolymer or an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer. The non separable resin may be an acrylic or an acrylic styrene resin. |
