A method for coating glass by contacting with gaseous mixture of a tin oxide precursor, such as monobuthyltintrichloride, silicon dioxide precursor, such as tetraethylorthosilicate, and an accelerant, such as triethyl phosphite, whilst this mixture is gaseous at the temperature 200 C and enables to coat the glass with a temperature in the rate from 450 to 650 C with a deposition speed higher than 35.0 nm/sec. The layer of deposited material may be combined with other layers to produce an article with specific properties, such as controlled emissivity, refractive index, abrasion resistance and appearance. |
