abstract New industrial strain of Lactobacillus spp. CCM 7697, isolated from the vagina of a healthy cow and a microorganism culture obtained by culturing the microorganism with beneficial properties for the microenviroment of the genital apparatus. The purpose of the solution is to obtain a microorganism useful for direct application to the vagina or affected uterus, to harmonize microbiocenosis as part of pharmaceutical preparations for recolonization of the genital apparatus, to produce dairy products as a functional part thereof, to mixed dairy, food and feed cultures. The culture of the microorganism is useful for application in the fresh state, but serves mainly for the industrial production of preventive and therapeutic preparations from the lyophilized culture.
