| abstract |
The pre-treatment plant seed treatment utilizes a low temperature plasma in combination with a subsequent surface treatment of the seeds with a mordant, wherein the low temperature plasma is generated at atmospheric pressure in air or other conventional working gas. The mordant can be applied at a lower dose after plasma treatment of the seeds. Further described is an apparatus for carrying out the method comprising a plasma seed treatment block and a seed treatment block for seed treatment. |
