titleOfInvention | A proces for manufacturing cupric fungicidal agents |
abstract | Cupric fungicidal agents in the form of water dispersible suspensions or pastes, or in the form of water dispersible wetting powders which contain hydroxysulphates, hydroxycarbonates and their binary and mixed salts containing respective sulphates and chlorides. Process for the production of said agents can be characterized in that copper sulphate, which is used in the precipitation process with chloroamocomplexes and/or copper amocomplexes, and/or with ammonia, and/or with carbonates, and/or alk. metals hydroxides, and/or oxides, and/or calcium hydroxides, and/or magnesium hydroxides, and/or barium hydroxides, is subjected to the reaction with urea whenever during the precipitation. Preferably, from 1.0 to 1.6 gram moles of urea is dosed per 1 gram mole of copper sulphate. It is advisable to add urea into the product of the precipitation reaction. The reaction product in the form of a suspension concentrate or water-dispersible powder is useful in combating Peronosporales in vine, hop, peach leaf-curl, phytophtora and other fungus diseases of plants. |
