titleOfInvention Connection of an overvoltage protection ignition circuit with an asymmetric element
abstract The connection of the overvoltage protection circuit (1) with an asymmetric element is intended to activate the spark (4). The first main spark electrode (5) is connected via a thermally sensitive disconnector (21) and further through a parallel combination of the second varistor (9) and the first capacitor (16) to the first electrode (13) of the asymmetric three-pole lightning arrester (12), the electrode (15) is connected via a primary winding (20) of the transformer (18) to a second main electrode (6) of the spark plug (4), the auxiliary electrode (7) of which is connected via a first varistor (8) to a second electrode (14) of an asymmetric three-pole a surge arrester (12) which is connected to the second main electrode (6) of the spark (4) via a secondary winding (19) of the transformer (18). The thermally sensitive disconnector (21) is bound by a thermal bond (22) to the second varistor (9) and at the same time the voltage ratios on the asymmetric three-pole arrester (12) are such that the static ignition voltage U1 between the second electrode (14) and the intermediate electrode (15) is greater than the static ignition voltage U2 between the middle electrode (15) and the first electrode (13).
