titleOfInvention Iodine Concentrate IC
abstract The subject of the utility model application is an iodine concentrate, which makes it possible to prevent the iodine deficiency in food in an appropriate way and to solve the problem of fortification of other products with iodine. This concentrate is an aqueous solution of iodine compounds with a total iodine content of 100 to 10,000 mg / liter. The aqueous solution contains iodine in the form of potassium iodide (KI), sodium iodide (NaI), potassium iodide (KIO3) and sodium iodide (NaIO3), either alone as a chemical individual, or preferably as a mixture thereof, showing a biologically enhanced biological activity and higher uptake by organisms. The iodine concentrate is primarily intended for the industrial production of beverages and food, where it will be controlled to achieve the desired iodine concentration in the finished product. IC is useful in a wide variety of food applications, as well as in agriculture, cosmetics, pharmaceutical manufacturing and some therapeutic applications.
