The apparatus for controlling the delivery of an aerosol formulation of an active agent to the lungs of a human patient comprises a flow resistance modulator (100) adapted to vary the flow resistance during one inhalation of the aerosol formulation of the active agent into the lungs of a human patient from the first flow resistance during an an initial time interval, wherein the second flow resistance is less than the first flow resistance. |
