A modified peptide product of formula (X1) a-F1- (X2) b and its multimers, wherein F1 is an Fc domain; X 1 and X 2 are each individually selected from - (L 1) c -P 1; - (L 1) c -P 1 (L 2) d-P2; - (L 1) c -P 1 (L 2) d -P 2 (L 3) e -P 3; and - (L1) c -P1- (L2) d -P2- (L3) e -P3- (L4) f-P4; wherein P1, P2, P3 and P4 are randomized sequences of pharmacologically active peptides; L1, L2, L3 and L4 are linkers; a, b, c, d, e and f are 0 or 1, wherein at least one of a or b is 1 and wherein the "peptide" contains 2 to 40 amino acids, wherein none of X1 and X2 is a native protein. Use of this product and the DNA that encodes it. An expression vector comprising the DNA and a host cell comprising the vector. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the peptide product. A method of preparing a pharmacologically active compound comprising a) selecting a peptide that modulates the activity of a protein; b) preparing a compound that comprises at least one Fc domain covalently linked to at least one amino acid sequence of the selected peptide. |
