abstract | Transparent and semitransparent diffractive elements, in particular holograms, contain a diffraction pattern formed in at least one of two different refractive index layers, the first support layer (1) being a transparent polymer or copolymer having a refractive index of less than 1.7 and a second high-index layer (2), enhancing the holographic effect, with a refractive index greater than 1.7 and a softening temperature of less than 900 ° C. This layer consists of chalcogenide-based substances containing at least one element of sulfur, selenium, tellurium. The first diffraction image is formed either in the carrier layer (1) and subsequently the high index layer (2), containing one or more layers of chalcogenide-based substances of different composition, applied subsequently or simultaneously, is applied to the carrier layer (1) or first is high indexed the layer (2) applied to the support layer (1) and only then the first diffractive image is mechanically formed into the system carrier layer (1) - high index layer (2).
