A method for producing a flavoring agent is described which comprises fermenting cooked leguminous seeds with a Bacillus subtilis or Bacillus natto strain, preparing a mixture comprising fermented material, reducing saccharide and water, reacting the mixture by heating and drying the reaction product. |
