titleOfInvention | METHOD OF PRODUCING BUTYLACETATE AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS METHOD |
abstract | Production of butyl acetate by esterification of acetic acid with butanol in the presence of a solid acid catalyst while separating the components by distillation, in which acetic acid and butanol are reported in a molar ratio of 1: 1 to 1: 10, in a defined amount into a system in which the reaction and distillation separation take place in three zones. In the recreation zone, the reaction proceeds simultaneously with the distillation separation of the components with different boiling points. Only the distillation separation takes place in the upper separation zone and the lower separation zone, so that the volatile phase is separated in the upper separation zone and is separated into an aqueous and organic phase which returns to the reaction upon cooling to 5 to 80 ° C as reflux. The ratio of feed of feed to reaction with the reflux of the organic phase is 1: 1 to 1: 20 and the reflux reflux is 60 to 100% of the total organic phase divided and the butyl acetate is separated as a booster and the apparatus for its performance. à |
