abstract | Compounds of the general formula (I) wherein R is CH2CH2Cl, CH3 up to C17H36, which are usable as phoinitiators, are prepared by reacting alkylbenzene and CH2CH2CH2Cl, C2H5 up to C18H38 alkyl in the presence of anhydrous aluminium chloride with phenylacetylchloride; the substance of the general formula (II) thus obtained reacts with selenium dioxide; the substance of the general formula (III) thus obtained reacts with N-bromosuccinimide in a dry tetrachloromethane; the substance of the general formu la (IV) thus obtained reacts with anhydrous potassium acetate, sodium acetate, ammonium acetate, calcium acetate or barium acetate; the substance of the general formula (V) thus obtained and being dissolved in methanol or ethanol reacts with aqueous solution of alkalic hydroxid; the substance of the general formula (VI) thus obtained reacts with pyridiniumchlorochromate in a solution of dry dichloromethane. |
