titleOfInvention | METHOD OF PRODUCING HIGHER ALIFATIC AND / OR CYCLOAL |
abstract | The method of higher ketones of common formula R'COR'' production in which R' stands for, from propyl to hexadecyl with straight and/or branched chain, from cyclopenthyl to cyclododecyl; R'' stands for, from methyl to hexadecyl with straight and/or branched chain initiated addition of dialkylketones C3-C19 and/or cycloalkylketones C5-C12 in temperature ranging from 100 to 180 degrees Celsius during initial effect of, at least one organic peroxide (di-terc. buthylperoxide), or hydroperoxide with half-l ife decay during addition temperature lasting from 0,5 to 8 hours in molar ratio of alkene and/or cycloalkene : dialkyketone, and/or cycloalkylketone : organic peroxide, and/or hydroperoxide from 1 : 5 to 100 : 0,01 to 1 percent. Higher ketones are isolated from the reaction product and non-convertible material is recycled. |
