abstract 3-(2-Alkylthio-6- benzothiazolylaminomethyl)-2- -benzothiazolinethiones of general formula I, where alkyl means the direct or branched alkyl chain with 4 to 9 atoms of carbon or 2- -hydroxyethyl, were prepared by reaction of 3-hydroxymethyl-2- -benzothiazolinetione and 2-alkylthio-6- aminobenzothiazoles in acetone at boiling point. Compounds are antialgal, antifungal and antiyeast effective.
