titleOfInvention | ALUMINUM SOLUTION OF ALUMINUM AND AMMONIUM IONS AS A CURRENT MEDIUM FOR ALUMINUM HYDROXIDE |
abstract | Subject of the invention is the composition of aluminate solution of aluminum and ammonium ions, which is used as a precipitation medium for the synthesis of aluminum hydroxides in the form of films or coatings or monodisperfected particles in a simple, chemically non-aggressive, one step process of tempering the aluminate solution. Depending on the temperature and time of tempering, in the absence of surfactants, it is possible to precipitate amorphous aluminum hydroxide gel or crystalline mesocrystals of aluminum trihydroxides (Bayerite, Glucite, Nordstrandite) or crystalline self-adhering particles of mesoporous aluminum monohydroxide (bemite) with a high specific surface area. The precipitated hydroxides do not require subsequent purification steps, as precipitation takes place in the absence of organic solvents, surfactants and cations or anions of alkali salts of bases and / or acids. |
