titleOfInvention VIDFESTNINGSMEDELLOSNING
abstract The invention relates to a coupling agent (adhesion promoter) solution for coating cut surfaces of an aramid cord fabric. In order to improve the adhesion, a solution is proposed which contains, as first constituent, a solution of polymers and a dispersion of solids in xylene/perchloroethylene and, as second constituent, a solution which comprises toluene and, dissolved therein, a rubber/metal bonding mixture which is known per se and contains a resorcinol-formaldehyde coupling agent system, and in which the weight ratio between the two constituents is in the range from 70:30 to 30:70.
