abstract The process for obtaining immunoglobulin from blood plasma or serum by precipitation with a polycondensed diol or polyol is carried out in the presence of a C4-C12-mono- or -polyalkanoic acid; caprylic acid is preferably used, and the process is preferably carried out at a pH of from 4.5 to 5.5. This increases the purity of the product and the yield.
