abstract | The mixture increases the rate of biodegradation of the mineral oil products and is prepared in a process in which 100 g of a calcium lignin sulphonate with a standardised iron content of 0.1% are dissolved in 1 l of water, this solution is heated to 75 DEG C and, while stirring continuously, 40.4 g of cerium(IV) sulphate are added, and to an amount of 0.5 g of the lignin sulphonate solution enriched in cerium are added 2 g of a solution of 50 g of stearic acid and 8 g of triethanolamine in 1000 cm<3> of water while stirring continuously and heating at 85 DEG C or a 20% strength aluminium sulphate solution at a temperature not exceeding 35 DEG C. The mixture obtained in this way can expediently be used to line oil basins and for covering the oil introduced into the basins. |
