abstract A process in which vesiculated pigmented polyester resin granules are prepared as an aqueous slurry, by the curing of discrete globules of a solution of an unsaturated polyester resin in a polymerisable monomer in an aqueous phase, the polyester resin solution having pre-dispersed in it a dispersion of pigment in water. The critical factor is the degree of agitation permitted at each stage of the process.
