titleOfInvention Method and system for control of at least one of a dosage device and an engine
abstract A method and a system for control of at least one of a dosage device and an engine are presented. The engine produces an exhaust stream being treated by an exhaust treatment system by use of at least one additive being injected into the exhaust stream by the dosage device. The additive is evaporated in an evaporation chamber when being injected into the exhaust stream. A time dependent condition Cof at least one positionPat an internal wall of the evaporation chamber is determined. A risk for at least one critical condition C, such as e.g. forming of additive residues, related to the at least one position Pis determined based on the time dependent condition C, . The additive dosage device and/or the engine is then controlled based on the determined risk for at least one critical condition C, whereby the risk for critical conditions is efficiently reduced.
