12 Summary The invention relates to an electrical control system 10 adjacent to a display 7 which can assume at least two display positions. The display 7 is adapted to be attached to a shelf of goods 2. The control electronics 10 registers when a potential customer moves within the display 7's gaze, and then activates the display 7. This with the aim of minimizing current consumption and optimizing the attention that the display creates. The invention relates in particular to a display which is attached to a refrigerator, and which detects the presence of a special customer by detecting when the refrigerator door is opened or closed. |
