titleOfInvention | DENTAL CONTROL DEVICE WITH PLASTIC BRACKETS AND PLASTIC COATED TANDBAGE |
abstract | A tooth correction device comprising brackets 3 and molar tubes 6 which can be secured releasably on each of a patient's teeth intended for treatment, for interaction with a prefabricated dental arch 2 whose ends 4, 5 are intended to be fixed in position in the molar tubes 6. The brackets 3 and molar tubes 6 used here are made of a thermoplastic material with a low coefficient of friction and special deformation properties in order to take up and level out pressure stresses on the dental arch 2. For the tooth correction device to be as inconspicuous as possible, the dental arch 2 is made using a material with a bone-coloured plastic coating with a similarly low coefficient of friction. <IMAGE> |
