| abstract | A tooth correction device comprising brackets 3 and molar tubes 6 which can be secured releasably on each of a patient's teeth intended for treatment, for interaction with a prefabricated dental arch 2 whose ends 4, 5 are intended to be fixed in position in the molar tubes 6. The brackets 3 and molar tubes 6 used here are made of a thermoplastic material with a low coefficient of friction and special deformation properties in order to take up and level out pressure stresses on the dental arch 2.
