abstract The relevant procedure is for use in loop adjustment in yarn work, and the like, in which a loop (S) is formed between two support cylinders (S1, S2),in which the adjuster is an integral part of the operation, in the form of a motor drive (2 or 3) whose revolutions are controlled and which drives a pair of cylinders (n or n+1) and a device (5) for the measurement of the loop's height and a loop-adjustment reinforcer (6). The procedure is characterized by the fact that the loop-adjuster's reinforcement is modified by a signal proportionate with the loop measurer's output signal.<IMAGE>
