titleOfInvention FOREMAL INCLUDING AT LEAST ONE TRANSPARENT, NON-IRIZING GLASS DISC, PROCEDURE FOR ITS MANUFACTURING AND USING ITSELF IN A BUILDING
abstract The invention concerns transparent glass plate constructions and glass window constructions 20, 36, 40 of the type which carry a first coating 26 of infrared reflecting material, which preferably has a thickness below ca. 0.85μm, whereby the visibility of iridescence (interference) arising from the first coating is markedly reduced by application of a second coating 24, 30, 32, 48a, 48b next to the first coating, by which the second coating gives at least two interfaces, which together with the mass of the second coating provide a means for reflection and splitting of light so that the visibility of iridescence is counteracted or prevented. The invention concerns also a procedure for the production of such windows. A special advantage of the invention is that it is practical with clear or lightly coloured glass, where the problem of iridescent colours has its largest commercial significance. <IMAGE>
